Manager Fired at Burger King for Calling UK Worker “Bri’ish”

Written by Evan B. 2022/05/04

We all know work-place critiques are not very cool, and can be kinda cringe, so obviously telling a coworker they are British is very unprofessional. But this manager never got the memo, and when he berated his coworker for letting 2 and a half raccoons into the restaurant, some would say he went way too far.

Our reporters managed to find an eyewitness of the event, a man at the Burger King drive through who heard the whole event go down. “It was wild, I was ordering the Katsu Chili WHOPPER®, when I heard arguing past the window. In the heat of the argument, [the worker] called [the manager] a ‘daft punk’, to which he responded ‘at least I’m not Bri’ish’.”

The eyewitness then reported that that was all he was able to gather, as soon after his 2004 Honda Civic spontaneously imploded.

Employees described the situation as “very strange”, stating that “the manager was British too” and that they “live in the UK”. One even reported “I don’t know why you’re asking me, I don’t even work here.”

Truly, we can only hope that such situations never happen again, and that we can go back to the beautiful, blissful life we lived forgetting that the UK exists. Long live the Burger Queen.
